DO-DADS (Dads Accepting Duties at School)

Nettleton Central encourages fathers to be involved in their children's education and development.  Parents are not only their children's first teachers, they are probably the most important teachers their children will ever have.  New research shows that the involvement of both the mother and the father is important.  The male role model is a critical and essential ingredient in the learning process and life development of a child.

Fathers play a critical role in their children's education.  When fathers or father figures are involved, children learn more, perform better in school, and exhibit healthier behavior.  Even when fathers do not share a home with their children, their active involvement can have a lasting and postive impact.

At Nettleton Central, we are very proud to have our DO-DADS group.  They volunteer many hours of their time serving as mentors, tutors, lunch buddies and much more.  They have also played a hugh role in making our building look great by weed-eating and creating beautiful flower beds.

THANKS TO OUR DO-DADS!  YOU ARE APPRECIATED BY THE STUDENTS AND STAFF AT NCE!
