NJH Art Club will be hosting their 1st annual chalk art festival on April 19th from 10am to 2pm. The festival will be located in the front of Nettleton Junior High. The event is to help raise money for the arts at NJH and students traveling on an educational tour to France.

**Chalk art festival is this Saturday from 10 to 2 here at the school. The festival is
free! If u want to participate in the chalk contest it is 3 dollars. There will be music,
food, raffle, and a silent art auction. Come out and join us for a day of art and fun.
**All students need to check lost and found by the cafeteria to claim lost items. All
items will be cleaned out April 25.
**Charity Ball will be held Saturday, April 26 from 6-9 pm. Dress will be formal to
semi-formal. Tickets may be purchased in the office for $5 before school or at
**Any student who is 15-18 may apply to be a junior volunteer for St. Bernard's
this summer. The session will be July 7-25. You must have a 2.75 grade point
average to qualify and then go through an interview process. If interested, an
application and a copy of your report card must be submitted by May 16.
Applications may be picked up in the counselor's office.

Nettleton Junior High Exemption Policy
The following exemption policy will be in place for Spring semester tests at NJHS:
There will be no early testing for either semester. If students are absent for a semester exam, they will be required to take the test on the scheduled make up days or upon returning to school or during the summer.
