**All students please bring your tardy card to the office on your last day of school to receive TARDY FREE REWARD. 

**Beta Club members going to Nationals are hosting a fundraiser night at CiCi's Pizza Thursday, May 23rd, from 5:30 to 8:30. Come help support our Beta Club as they try to raise money to go to Mobile, AL.

**All students should clean your locker before you leave for summer break.  Anything left in them will be thrown away.

**The NJHS Beta club is selling Boston butts to help defray the costs of going to national convention in Mobile, AL. The cost is $35 and orders are being taken through Thursday, May 23. Pick up will be in the NJHS parking lot from 4-5 on Saturday, May 25. For more information email Sarah Gifford at sgifford@nettletonschools.net

**Attendance through May 13 is posted by the office.  Please check for exemption eligibility.  Changes have been made and some errors corrected. 

The following exemption policy will be in place for Spring semester tests at NJHS:

Exemptions will be based on grades and attendance.

    • A student with an “A” average may have no more than four absences.
    • A student with a “B” average may have no more than three absences.
    • A student with a “C” average may have no more than two absences.
  • Students will be exempt on a class-by-class basis with the following exceptions:
    • A student with more than three disciplinary referrals in a semester will not be exempt from any semester test.
    • A student who has been suspended or who has served in-school suspension or Saturday School will not be exempt from any semester tests.
  • Students may be exempt from Spring semester tests only.
  • The office will determine number of absences, not by the individual teacher. The office will generate an official list of students with four, three, and two days of absences.
  • A student who qualifies for exemption but chooses to take semester tests, cannot have his/her grade lowered by the tests.
  • All teachers will participate in the exemption program.
  • All textbooks, library books and fines must be cleared.
