Important Announcement Regarding Our Electronic Device Policy!

According to the Arkansas Department of Education, Nettleton High School will be instituting a
procedure concerning electronic devices. This procedure will override the standard electronic device
policy during the administration of all ACTAAP exams at NHS during the 2012-2013 school year. The
amended policy that will be enforced during ACTAAP exams will read:

…The Nettleton High School policy will be to completely prohibit the use or possession of
electronic devices of any kind during all ACTAAP exams. Students will be reminded repeatedly
in the days approaching the actual testing date about the banning of possession of all electronic
devices while testing. They will be advised to not bring them into the testing room. Students
that bring electronic devices into the room may surrender them immediately and voluntarily
to the teacher to be powered off and locked away in a container. If a student is found to be
in possession of a prohibited electronic device during any part of the testing that device will
be confiscated immediately, the device will be subject to a complete and thorough search of
all files stored on the hard drive, and the school will only return the device to the parent or
guardian of the student pending a conference. Students that violate this policy will also be
subject to other disciplinary action at the discretion of the principal.

Again, this change will only be in effect during the administration of ACTAAP exams. Otherwise the
normal electronic device policy will be in effect.

Time to Order Yearbooks!

The 2013 Raider Yearbook costs $50 and is a full color size 9 book.  This is the largest size book that our school publishes.  This marks the ninth year that the book has cost $50, although it continues to grow in size, coverage, and color.  It covers Raiders from grades 7 - 12.    To order your yearbook you may visit www.jostensyearbook.com and purchase it online, or you may purchase it by filling out this form and turning it into the office of either Nettleton Junior High School or Nettleton High School, or you may mail it and a check to the following address:

Jonesboro, AR  72401.

Make all checks payable to Nettleton Yearbook.    Please note that the yearbook staff cannot mail yearbooks.  They must be picked up in the office of the high school if the
student moves to a new address.
If you need to pay a down payment of $25 one month and then pay the remaining $25 before the deadline on March 29th, please feel free to do so.  Down payments will NOT be refunded. 

To turn a form into the office fill out a piece of paper with the following information:
