Hello Nettleton Families!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Nettleton Middle School and Pre-K Center! My names is Lacy Baker and I am very proud to be the Principal
of both of these wonderful schools!

There is a long running tradition of pride and excellence within the Nettleton School District, and at NMS/Pre-K the commitment to both is evident...both in the classrooms where  our students begin their
educational career, and also in the rooms where they move from an
elementary, to a secondary level of academics.

I feel very fortunate to be a part of both of these schools, and
especially to serve as a positive example of a friend, guide, and
motivator to all who are part of the NMS/Pre-K Family.  There are so
many levels, as well as so many aspects, to a well-rounded education.
I, as well as the faculty, know that we are not only providing answers
to our  students, we are instilling in them in the knowledge (and
ultimately, the desire) to find those answers for themselves!

Preparing our students for the next level of success is our ultimate
goal each and every school day...and we ask for your complete and
total support in this endeavor. Everyone knows that a student's
education is something that can never be replaced, and never taken
away, and an obligation to provide nothing but the very best education
guides each and every day at NMS/Pre-K!

The educational opportunities our students will experience this year
will be vast, life-shaping, and forever changing...and on behalf of
the entire faculty, we thank you for the opportunity to be a part of
your family this school year. I can assure you it is a privilege, and
a responsibility, that we will not take for granted.
