Mr. Cover's 6th Grade Reading

We are going to have a very interesting week on the Groovy Team!  For the first time this year, 6th graders will be doing a webquest.  A webquest  is an inquiry based project where students investigate a specific topic using various Internet resources.  Our webquest this week will focus on the Lost Boys of Sudan, and specifically focus on four young men (Salva Dut, Gabriel Bol, Garang and Koor) that we've met through our class novel, A Long Walk to Water, and the movie we watched about the civil war in Sudan called, Rebuilding Hope.  If you are interested in taking a look at our Lost Boys of Sudan Webquest, simply click on the Lost Boys of Sudan Webquest link on the toolbar on the left side of this page.
